PDO (polydioxanone) is a safe, biodegradable material used in surgeries since the 1980s. When placed beneath the skin, the threads trigger your cells (fibroblasts) to produce fresh collagen. Even after the threads dissolve, the new collagen structure keeps the skin looking firmer and tighter.
